The Rolex Daytona is the one Rolex watch that I have always thought was very sexy in how it looked. There is no way I would ever spend the amount of money a Rolex Daytona costs for a single watch (I don't give an f**k about the investment value). I saw Pagani Designs homage to the Daytona here on Amazon and it appeared to have that same sexy quality. There were mostly positive reviews and at $106 (with sales tax), the price was right as well. I hadn't seen one in person but decided that the risk was acceptable so I bought one. I am so happy that I took the risk. The watch is beautiful and just as sexy looking as a real Daytona. That doesn't mean that it is as good as a Daytona or is without faults but for $106, it is worth every penny. As I said, visually the watch is stunning. Anyone that see's the watch on your wrist will easily think that it is a $700+ watch. There is no way anyone is going to realize that this watch is barely over $100. The watch is that stunning looking. Seiko quartz movement is a good quartz movement but you are still going to lose 5 to 7 seconds a day. Really can't complain about that because that is the standard for Seiko quartz movement and at $106, it is a good movement that is worth the money spent. The one big complaint is the lume. Luminessence is awful. It is almost non-existent. They could easily improve the luminessence without effecting the price because I have seen cheap watches that have 10 times the luminessence that this watch has at less than half the price of this watch. It is my biggest complaint about this watch but is not something that would stop me from purchasing another or would make me return the watch. In all other aspects, I love this watch and am so happy with just how visually stunning it looks (except in the dark). I will live with the lack of lume and it won't bother me all that much because I will primarily be looking at the watch in the daytime or in lit rooms and I still fall in love all over again when I see it's gorgeous face.Very nice watch , ceramic bezel, as describedI can't find an affordable automatic Chronograph anywhere, so when I found this shameless homage of the timeless Cosmograph that seems to have a lot going for it. I thought I'd give it a try.First, the Seiko MecaQuartz is great and accurate for the price. Sure I want an Auto too but this is a good watch mechanically as long as you don't get the Skeleton Auto that has what I'm inferring is a pretty crappy movement based on other reviews. I don't know though. The watch itself looks sharp and is not as bulky on the wrist as I thought. Brushed Steel contrasts high polish on the lugs and bracelet which is catchy for a watch of this price. The dial and bezel are sharp, the hands legible and overall the watch looks better yet than in the pictures. Screw down crown and chrono pushers, good feel. The sense of quality for the price is there. Also the screw pins were easy to use and remove.Cons: The Clasp's foldover feels a little loose, and the micro adjustments are frustrating to use, which might make the 'perfect fit' hard to acquire.Overall this would be a 4 Star product for $250. But at its price point its great. This review isafter the full first day I've had the item, so it's New. If I come across long-term Quality Control issues, I'll update the review. The strap does not fit very well with the designI love the look of this watch as an "homage" for a well known Rolex watch style. The one I got had a non-functioning minutes hand when using the stop watch function. I forgot to send it back and then decided it doesn't really matter since I'll only use it for dress. From the other reviews I'm not the only one to have that problem - sounds like they need to be better on the quality control. I also found the strap adjusted either a little too large or a little too tight but for occasional use it is fine.Initially I was over the moon with this unit. It is absolutely gorgeous, realizing the band was super easy to adjust was a great plus. The day and date adjustments were very nice but the instructions didnt help. I had to discover how they were opperated. In my pictures and videos it was functioning well.I noticed the automatic winding piece didn't seem to free spin as many other automatic watches I have. A good flick on most would give 2 or 3 good spins out of the automatic winding. I noticed I got maybe 3/4 to 1.5 rotations. This was concerning but with manual winding I figured it would stay ahead so i winded the watch and went to work.I wore it for a 9 hour shift and noticed 6 hours in it began loosing time. By 9 hours it was stuck. It took me popping the watch on a table to break free whatever was holding up the unit. I feel is fully wound now and will see how long stationary it will keep time over night. So far. I don't think I would purchase this again. I review watches and I have been most excited for this watch for a couple months. So far I'm very disappointedFirst off I'd like to say the meca-quartz movement works very well in this watch, as does the chronograph. The chronograph buttons have a crisp hefty "click" to them. The watch face itself is very beautiful. I will be completely honest however, the bracelet RUINS this watch. It is squeaky and extremely sharp. I've read reviews where people rave about this bracelet, how it is "better than their Seiko 5" (not true). I have scraped myself several times and have even cut my girlfriend with the sharp watch clasp on this watch. The looks of the bracelet even cheapen the feel, the polished center links with the brushed outer links, blah. I would not buy again, I would not gift one to a friend, I cannot even put into words how much I hate this bracelet. I am someone who does not wear things simply for their looks, it has to FEEL like quality. My Seiko 5 Sea Urchin feels 100% more quality and solid than this watch, and that is without the sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, and meca-quartz movement. I would avoid.Like I said can’t beat it for the price. Best bang for your buck when the sun hits it it looks gorgeous. If your looking for a Daytona homage that won’t break the piggy bank this is it. By the way I got the black dial.
