This is my first foray into the world of mechanical watches, after having had an Apple Watch for some years now, and I could not be more happy. The Orient Maestro (which is part of their AC0E series, given they don't give many of their watches names anymore for whatever reason) is such a wonderful piece. The Brown dial with the Rose Gold hands and indicators looks absolutely spectacular. Some say the simple and clean dial and indicators lack charm, character, "soul," but I thoroughly beg to differ, it's clean, it's simple, it's actually got some formal elegance to it, yet it's perfectly suitable for everyday wear as well. I would feel perfectly confident wearing this to a job interview as I would wearing it to the grocery store. The mesh band this comes with is absolutely the better choice over a normal bracelet that some of the other models include (you can purchase the mesh band separately through Orient if you wish) by default. Given it has standard 20mm lug widths, it also means it is easy to change out bands for another one if you prefer. The automatic winding, albeit standard on most Orient watches, is a joy to have since it means there is no need to worry about winding, yet it has hand-winding too if you need or wish to use that as well. The hacking seconds feature makes it exceptionally easy to set the time precisely, and is thoroughly appreciated at such a low price point. It's 10 Bar/100 Meter water resistance is a really nice addition too, even if I wouldn't recommend diving with such a watch, as it means you can rest easy if the watch gets wet washing your hands, in the rain, or even in a swimming pool. The sizing of the case is wonderful, and unless you either have very small wrists or like very large watches, you won't be disappointed. The fact it also has a flat topped crystal on the front helps make the overall appearance of the watch clean, simple, and elegant. I would like to see more case options aside from just stainless steel be offered in the future, but as it stands it's perfectly suitable for almost any situation from a form and design standpoint. What makes this watch unbeatable, however, is its accuracy. The watch is rated at +25/-15 seconds a day, which is to be expected on a watch only costing ~$140. However, I have had mine going for 5 days now, with nearly continuous wearing of it, and it has only seemingly lost 4 seconds over the whole time. That gives it an accuracy of <1 second lost each day, which is absolutely incredible for the price point. This watch is phenomenal, and while the Orient Bambino (which is the AC00 series, I think) has it's own charm and character to it, with more dial choices, sizing options, and a domed crystal (but far less water resistance), I am far happier to have the Maestro as my first Mechanical watch, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for an entry-level mechanical watch! :)I just want to say this watch not only gets compliments, has been accurate to 3 seconds for the two weeks since I purchased it. It is light on my wrist and very easy to read. The price seems quite low for this particular watch.Buena calidad para el precio y muy bonitoThis watch must have the most simple and beautiful face ever. I love it. However, since it’s self winding, it dies within 22-24 hours of not wearing it and has to be reset.Great watch! Use it in my rotation with my seiko and islander watches. Love the hacking feature and i’ve gotten many compliments on it :).What a beautiful watch. My first real time piece, and it won't be my last from Orient. The second hand is smooth. The watch has great weight to it. The band does not pinch your hairs. Adjusting the band is also quite easy. I have a small wrist for a 6 ft male, and it fits me great. Great watch for under $200. I bought mine used for less, and couldn't be happier with a pre-owned watch. However the watch is 10 seconds slow every day. Which I read is not bad for a watch like this. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone. The watch is very handsome while being understated. The watch says what it needs to without the need to draw attention. The band I am not a large fan of, but that was eqliy replaced for a small amount by a black leather band that makes the watch even more serious. In brief, I’m not certain another watch exists under $200 that gives you this value. I would not hesitate to buy this watch for myself or as a gift.Fabulous watch beautiful and subtle blue indices I do not think you could get better at this price ?Beautiful watch with incredible accuracy, would recommendI think I may have received a returned watch. There were no tags on the watch like orient watches usually have and the display back sticker was also peeled off. I can also see some tiny scratches on the case of the watch where the mesh bracelet meets the case. I am deeply disappointed and feel like I’ve been cheated. I payed for a new watch, not someone else’s return.PROS:With that being said the watch is pretty nice for the price. The color of the dial is beautiful and the crown feels great. The whole thing is pretty light too if that’s what you want.CONS:The watch ticks pretty loud compared to my other orient watches. Nothing noticeable from a distance but close up u can definitely pick up on the ticking. The mesh bracelet is mediocre at best and dose not feel very robust at all.Overall pretty disappointed :(It is a simple and elegant timepiece. It has the classic automatic movement sound - and it is quiet, even in a silent room. The finish is contemporary, and soon to become a classic look. Good job on the design, delivery, and quality. A must have for automatic watch enthusiasts, and a great gift for those approaching a special milestone.Excelente reloj mecánico, el color de la esfera luce muy bien dependiendo la luz que le llegue. Aquí con una correa de piel con la que hace juego.
