These are useful velvet pouches for storing and/or transporting watches and/or other jewelry. The soft fabric protects your valuables from scratching and there's an insert that you can wrap the watch around to protect the main body the watch strap. There's also a secure snap to keep the pouch closed and the inside of the snap is covered in velvet so no scratches there either. One qualifier: the pouches are really too shallow for watches with stiff leather bands. If the band doesn't easily fold underneath the watch, it will be too long for the pouch. For softer bands (leather, mesh, etc...) it's not a problem. It's also not a problem for stainless steel bands which tend to be much more flexible. Though promoted mostly for wrist watches, I find the pouches useful for pocket watches too. Great for storage but also if for when I pack one for travel. The same goes for other jewelry including rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.... The soft cloth will keep those protected, too. All-in-all a good investment to protect your valuables from unnecessary scratches.
